Create your own ocean inspired, natural material, indoor mosaic art piece in these 2 x 4 hour workshop with Shingle & Shell artist Heidi. Your prepared mosaic board will be supplied (sealed, painted, aluminium trim & strung on completion) as well as all access to Heidi’s mosaic materials.
In the morning you will discuss mosaic design principals using natural materials. Heidi will then guide the group through the creative process with each person creating their unique patterns. Works are then glued and left to set overnight.
Day 2 consists of learning to grout textured mosaics. All works are then fixed by Heidi with a wire hanging system on completion to take home.
Light snacks, tea and coffee will be provided. Minimum group size is 5 people.
